Breakfast for 2 is highly recommended and you can sit very nicely, in summer also outside. The prices for drinks are perhaps a little exaggerated

Very nice coffee. The selection of cakes and tarts is large and everything looks delicious 😋, so it’s difficult what you should eat now 😅. The conditions are very friendly.

The most delicious pumpkin soup! Friendly and accommodating staff (even with my not great attempts at speaking German haha). Baby seats available for our toddler. Everything was very clean and seating was spaced out. We enjoyed our visit very much and would highly recommend going. Everything we had was delicious - pumpkin quiche & salad, pumpkin soup, turmeric coffee, tea, and kid's latte.

Great and well-kept interior, great toilet ... Unfortunately the moccacino only served lukewarm, without foam ... Seems to have been standing for a while ... In general the service was quite sleepy ... We spent a good half an hour on coffee and waiting for payment. Other guests were also annoyed and ended up going to the counter with their wallets to pay ... It's a shame about the beautifully located caffè with great furnishings. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Unfriendly older service, breakfast is popped on the table without looking at the guest and without saying a word. If you want to pay, suddenly all the friendlier! Small portions, you can't have anything extra, such as Ham or cheese !? Never again! A shame, otherwise a beautiful place!

Markt Eins is located directly on Esslingen's market square and is located in one of the beautiful, historic half-timbered houses. A kind of bistro where you can enjoy the good coffee and cake outside with a view of the market in summer. The interior is comfortably designed. The service is incredibly friendly and quick. We went to Markt Eins for lunch after being recommended by friends several times. Unfortunately, it took 25 minutes for the waitress to come to our table for the first time, even though she brought us to the table. It then took another 20 minutes to have our drinks, even though the café was not very busy. The drinks and food were okay, but not necessarily appropriate for the prices. It's a shame, the atmosphere on the market square is great, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the service and the selection.

I was here again yesterday after a long time and was quite flabbergasted that we paid a proud 4.50 euros for the "homemade lemonade", which consisted only of mineral water, a slice of lemon / lime and a drop of syrup. For me, that has nothing to do with a fresh, homemade lemonade. Otherwise I can only rate the breakfast, which has always been delicious. But unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews - the price-performance ratio is unfortunately no longer correct here. The next time I would rather try another café in Esslingen.

Excellent cafe. Will certainly be coming back. Got the vegi omelette and the pour over coffee, which you get to pour the water over yourself. Loved it. Cute little spot. Went on a Monday morning and there was plenty of open seats at that time.

One of the best cafés in Esslingen for brunch, breakfast or generally to eat. The staff is super nice and the menu leaves nothing to be desired.

I really like the brunch here. The staff is really kind and helpful. And they can allow customization on the meal if there is something you wanna change. Die Brioche ist sehr lecker.

They have the most comfortable chairs and their products are in good quality. I enjoyed every moment
